Peed & Bortz, LLC was founded in 1998 by C. Elvan Peed, PE and Scott Bortz, PE. Our staff consists of five licensed Professional Engineers and two technicians/specialists. We employ full-time and part-time construction inspectors and drafters on an as-needed basis. Our engineers have over 100 years of combined experience in South and Central Virginia. 

The Peed & Bortz business philosophy is centered on quality service and attention to detail with the belief that a successful project starts with the establishment of a sound working relationship and a clear line of communication. Our small size ensures that the engineers at Peed & Bortz are thoroughly involved in each of the various project phases, from preliminary design and cost estimating through final design and construction administration.
